O pozici

Pracovní nabídka

HARDWARIO is hiring a CFO to help build a new strategic business unit in
Prague

HARDWARIO, a leading company in the field of IoT and smart technology solutions, is
expanding its operations by opening a new strategic division in Prague. We are building a C-
level leadership team from the ground up – and one of the key positions is that of Chief
Financial Officer (CFO).
This person will take full responsibility for strategic financial planning and stability, help
shape key investment decisions, manage company-wide budgets and forecasts, and ensure
that our operations remain healthy and sustainable during growth.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a seasoned finance leader with 10+ years of experience, ideally in
manufacturing or technology-driven companies. While experience in IT or cybernetics is a
plus, it’s not a requirement – what really matters is your ability to understand and manage
complex, cross-functional operations, where hardware, software, development, and
procurement all play a part.

We’re looking for someone who thinks like an entrepreneur, understands the broader
business context, and can lead with ownership and accountability. Someone who can look at
numbers and quickly see what matters – what to invest in, what to delay, and how to keep the
company financially secure for the long term.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Full responsibility for the company’s financial management – planning, budgeting, controlling, and cashflow
  • Defining and approving project and department budgets – setting limits, priorities, and
  • boundaries
  • Preparing fast and reliable financial insights for board-level decisions
  • Evaluating opportunities – e.g., determining whether it’s financially viable to purchase key materials in advancewhen market prices drop, without jeopardizing stability
  • Maintaining long-term financial resilience – ensuring a 24-month operating reserve is always in place
  • Working closely with delivery teams, procurement, and engineering to decide what can be purchased and when
  • Creating internal financial tools and processes – building Excel models and reports for active company management
  • Building and leading your own finance team as the company scales

What we expect from you

  • University degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technology company
  • Proven experience in budgeting, cashflow management, forecasting, and financial strategy
  • Excellent Excel skills – ability to build clear, usable models for company-wide financial tracking and planning
  • Deep understanding of cost control, financial analysis, and scenario modeling
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills – especially when working with other C-level leaders
  • A context-driven, business-oriented mindset – ability to see the impact of financial decisions beyond just the numbers
  • Advanced English (B2–C1) – you don’t need to be a native speaker, but you must be able to communicate confidently and clearly in both spoken and written form

What we offer

  • Fair base salary with performance-based bonuses tied to business and project success
  • A chance to influence the strategic direction of a new division from the very beginning
  • Full ownership of financial systems and processes – set things up your way
  • Company-paid Multisport card
  • Personal and professional development support – training, mentoring
  • A fast-moving, no-nonsense environment with a team that gets things done
  • The stability of a trusted brand (HARDWARIO) combined with the agility of a startup-style business unit

Ready to help build something from the ground up?
Let’s talk. We’re looking for a financial leader who can take full ownership – not just of the
numbers, but of the mission. If you’re ready for that kind of responsibility, we want to hear
from you.
