BMW Group is establishing a new Global Logistics Center near Ostrava – a strategic hub that will play a key role in supplying BMW plants worldwide.

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Reporting Specialist (m/f/d) to support performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making within BMW’s international logistics operations.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting systems that ensure transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across all logistics and financial processes.

You will start your journey with training in Germany, gaining hands-on experience with BMW’s global data and logistics systems. Back in Ostrava, you will be part of the core team shaping and developing the new site.

You will

• Create and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports for business performance monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and timely data collection, analysis, and interpretation for operational and management teams.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support continuous improvement projects by identifying trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot data interruptions, propose corrective actions, and ensure data integrity.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and logistics service providers on dashboard use and data reporting standards.
• Collaborate with international BMW teams to align reporting methodologies and support global best practices.

What you bring

• University degree or comparable professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, logistics reporting, or process improvement, ideally within an international or automotive environment.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Understanding of SAP (WM, WH modules preferred) and logistics processes.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
• Motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent English and Czech or Slovak; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to Germany for onboarding and training.
