Role Description
Skanska Residential is one of the subsidiaries of the Skanska Group and has been among the leading developers in Prague for over 20 years. To date, we have created more than 8,000 new homes, now inhabited by approximately 22,000 people. We are currently looking for a Project Leader to join our experienced project team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading residential projects, which involves:
- Participating in the development of project strategy
- Proposing measures and decisions and overseeing their implementation
- Coordinating designers throughout all phases of project design and execution
- Ensuring all permits are obtained and administered in cooperation with engineering specialists, in line with the project schedule
- Creating project timelines and budgets
- Collaborating on contractual documentation
- Supervising construction in terms of cost, quality, and timing during implementation
- Securing occupancy permits
- Handing over completed buildings to infrastructure managers and third parties (excluding apartment handovers to clients)
- Maintaining thorough project administration
- Preparing materials for regular reporting
- Keeping records of safety and project risks in accordance with company guidelines
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a university degree in a technical field, ideally in civil engineering/building construction
- Has at least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in residential construction
- Is familiar with technical solutions and basic design principles
- Understands the permitting process and construction legislation
- Has experience creating schedules and financial calculations for projects
- Is proficient in PC work, ideally including BIM and MS Project
- Can communicate in English (excellent Czech language spoken and written is essential)
- Holds a category B driving license
