Job Description

BD Advanced Patient Monitoring is a global leader in advanced monitoring solutions that expands BD's portfolio of smart connected care solutions with its growing set of leading monitoring technologies, advanced AI-enabled clinical decision tools and robust innovation pipeline. BD Advanced Patient Monitoring's technologies are often used simultaneously with the BD Alaris™ Infusion System in the operating room or intensive care units. The combination of BD's new advanced monitoring and existing infusion platforms enables future innovation opportunities for closed-loop hemodynamic monitoring and IV fluid and medication administration by integrating combined company data sets and interoperability capabilities.

About the role

As a Field Clinical Specialist in the Advanced Patient Monitoring division, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and support for our highly innovative technologies in Hemodynamic Monitoring in hospitals. Your role will involve educating and training healthcare professionals on the use of medical devices, including during surgical procedures and in the ICU, ensuring safe and effective adoption. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets by collaborating closely with the sales team and driving product adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide education and training to physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on the technical aspects of our medical devices, including device handling, in-servicing, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Support product evaluations by providing expertise on device usage, procedure, and protocol throughout the entire project timeline.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to implement growth and expansion strategies within focused accounts and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor clinical support activities, market changes, and competitive activity.
  • Develop and continuously improve training curriculum, materials, and tools based on clinical experience and company guidelines.
  • Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of our medical devices and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience as an anesthesia or intensive care nurse, or a biomedical engineer is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical device and/or clinical support roles is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and general office machinery.
  • Fluency in Czech and high proficiency in English are mandatory.
