Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, supporting both batch and real-time data processing.
Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Build robust, high-quality data models that support analytics, AI use cases, reporting and other enterprise applications.
Develop and refine semantic data models and reports in Power BI to enable deeper business insights.
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and security and automation specialists to deliver end-to-end data solutions that meet enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
Stay up to date with data engineering trends and apply relevant practices, tools and frameworks to keep the data platform scalable, secure and future-ready.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related area (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
Medior (3+ years) experience in data engineering.
Proficient with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Lake.
Comfortable with a programming language used in data contexts (e.g. Python, SQL, DAX).
Fundamental understanding of data modelling and data transformation techniques.
Eager to showcase your developments through DevOps practices with Azure DevOps.
Experience with analytics and visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
You have basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, end-user devices, networking and ticketing systems.
