To support operations across the Czech cluster, we are seeking a motivated, business-minded Ethics & Compliance Associate. In this role, you will work closely with the Cluster Ethics & Compliance Leader and cross-functional teams to champion ethical business practices, manage risk, and embed strong governance into daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advisory & Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to local business partners, interpreting codes of conduct, internal policies, relevant pharmaceutical regulations, and industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct ongoing E&C risk assessments of commercial and business activities; design, execute, and monitor risk mitigation and responsive action plans.
  • Monitoring & Insights: Implement structured compliance monitoring programs across prioritized business areas, delivering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Training & Communication: Identify training needs, deliver engaging compliance communications, and support organizational change management initiatives.
  • Investigations & Remediation: Collaborate with HR and cross-functional risk functions on speak-up matters and investigations; support root-cause analyses and drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
  • Regional Collaboration: Partner with peers across regional compliance hubs and workstreams to ensure aligned corporate standards while addressing local cluster needs.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in ethics & compliance, risk management, or regulatory compliance (ideally within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or related regulated industries).
  • Education: University degree required; a legal background (Law degree / J.D.) or specialized post-graduate qualification (e.g., C.P.A., MBA) is strongly preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent Czech / Slovak and fluent spoken and written English (daily international communication).
  • Skills: Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and collaborate constructively across diverse stakeholder groups without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset with experience utilizing compliance data and monitoring tools.
  • High level of personal integrity, sound ethical judgment, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% (regional/cluster meetings).

What Is Offered

  • Opportunity to work with a prestigious global innovator in healthcare known for high ethical standards and an inclusive team culture.
  • Competitive monthly salary (fix + annual bonus)
  • Office in Prague
  • Approx. 20 % travel
  • Meaningful scope of work combining strategic governance with hands-on business partnering.
  • Professional growth within a collaborative regional and global compliance network.
