We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in SIP and VoIP platforms to join our team. The role combines telecommunications knowledge with Kubernetes, networking, scripting, and hands-on troubleshooting to keep services secure, available, and operationally efficient. The job agenda covers design, operation, and improvement of reliable DevOps services for SIP and VoIP platforms.
What you will do
Support, operate, and improve SIP/VoIP services and their supporting infrastructure.
Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain containerized workloads in Kubernetes environments and services running on virtualized infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure and configuration management with Ansible.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for reliable testing, deployment, and release of services.
Work with network services and components, including IP routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and secure connectivity, as they relate to voice platforms.
Write and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks, deployments, checks, and routine administration.
Investigate incidents across applications, platforms, and network layers; identify root causes and implement lasting fixes.
Participate in on-call support, respond to service incidents outside normal working hours, and support service restoration in line with operational procedures.
Contribute to monitoring, service reliability, operational documentation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams and communicate technical topics clearly in English.

Required knowledge and skills
You have a degree in engineering or comparable vocational training with a corresponding field of study or subject-specific additional training or several years of professional experience in the field of Voice, Signaling and IP technology.
Furthermore, you are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional expert knowledge and skills:
5+ years of experience in DevOps with Telco specifics
Practical knowledge of SIP and VoIP concepts, signaling, and call flows.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized application operations, and virtualization platforms.
Strong networking fundamentals and experience troubleshooting network-related issues.
Scripting experience with languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
Practical experience with Ansible for configuration management or infrastructure automation.
Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience maintaining delivery pipelines.
Proven troubleshooting experience, including structured fault isolation and root-cause analysis.
Willingness and ability to participate in scheduled on-call duties and incident response.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Fluent English, written and spoken.
English is must, but German and any other foreign language a strong plus
Strong communication abilities to interact with clients and team members
Desirable skills
Experience operating production telecommunications or carrier-grade services.
Familiarity with Linux administration, virtualization technologies, observability, and infrastructure automation.
Experience supporting highly available services and participating in incident response.
