About the Team
Our team of 30 colleagues has been the driving force for innovation in the area of document automation within the PwC network. The team operates a platform that is being used in almost 50 countries, will soon provide the services to the whole PwC Network globally and expand to external markets.
Our team provides a broad range of services such as solution design, software implementation, software development and integrations, application management and maintenance, robotic process automation or data analytics. About your manager
Tomas as a Partner in PwC leads the whole Document Automation team and cooperates with 4 team managers to create and execute our strategy. Tomas is passionate about team vision and delivering high quality services to our internal and external clients. He enjoys all outdoor sport activities, in particular cycling and cross-country skiing.
Job description & summary
For a growing PwC’s document automation team based in the Czech Republic, Prague we are looking for a Products Manager to lead the team that operates documentation platform as well as other related products on a global level.
Application Planning and Deployment:
- Lead the planning and deployment of software application developed by a vendor
- Collaborate with the vendor team to ensure adherence to application standards, best practices, and project timelines.
- Oversee the implementation of updates, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of application specialists and QA specialists.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management:
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with application development and deployment.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and discuss with vendor how application can meet their needs.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into understandable terms.
Documentation:
- Ensure team maintains documentation for applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and change logs.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in document automation.
- Implement innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service offering as well as efficiency and effectiveness of application management processes.
Requirements of the role
- Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years of which min. 4 years of progressive roles involving IT products
- Direct experience with team leadership
- Experience in the area of application management of IT product is a must
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with external vendor and other stakeholders.
- Innovative thinking and proactive collaboration with our vendor on strategic application development
- Ability to define and prioritize product requirements.
- Experience in QA during product deployment process
- Experience with managing external suppliers and product deployment processes
- Czech & English language knowledge on professional level
- Degree Preferred: Master Degree
