As an Operational Excellence Lead, you will drive AMMEGA global networks to reduce waste in production processes, creates conditions to assure sustainable improvements, and aids to define and drive implementation of improvement projects aligned with businesses strategies and priorities, as an on-site contributor in our manufacturing plant. You will report to the Global Director of Operational Excellence. In this role, you will be supporting several facilites: mainly our Jihlava production plant but also smaller Customer focused plants in several countries across Europe. You will work closely with our production teams. Our colleagues like one another, so this is an in-person, in-office role with regular travel to European sites.

A day in the life of an Operational Excellence Lead can look like

· Facilitating production improvement workshops onsite and remote

· Regular practice of genchi genbutsu to reconcile data with front-line activities, considering and merging both data and experience

· Steering and coaching global networks within Operations

· Define actions to improve Quality/Delivery/Cost

· Define the requirements and assess the locations adherence to Production System

· Agree, collect and track necessary data on production performance

We are looking for you to offer the following

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (technical, engineering)
· Knowledge of LEAN production principles

· Technical background

· Experience in leading projects including thorough follow up

· Business acumen

· Dealing with ambiguity

· Positive team spirit

· Influencing and negotiating skills

· Drive for results and deadline driven

· Ability to build relationships through collaboration

· Must be able to work in in Jihlava and travel as needed
