Key responsibilities:
Oversee and participate in the recruitment and selection process.
Partner with Plant Leadership to maintain staffing levels according to business needs and the annual operating budget.
Coordinate the effective onboarding program for newly hired employees.
Advice and counsel managers on a variety of topics to increase employee engagement, team development and organizational effectiveness.
Improve organizational results by measuring and assessing performance.
Partner with Plant Leadership to enhance employee and management performance by identifying training and development needs, offering, and evaluating appropriate training programs, and ensuring effective utilization of performance management feedback systems and processes.
Oversee performance management processes, including succession planning, to ensure leadership continuity and talent retention.
Manage and support engagement projects.
Stay up to date on industry trends and continuously improve HR policies and practices.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource law requirements.
Requirements:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
5+ years of progressive HR experience required, including Manufacturing Plant HR experience.
Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR leader, with significant expertise in manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
In-depth understanding of local labor law and requirements.
Extensive experience in talent recruitment, selection, performance management and with a strong track record in building successful teams.
Expertise in developing compensation programs, benefits management, and succession planning.
Assess job descriptions profiles, policies and procedures and rewrite as needed.
Manage conflict resolution, respond to employee relation issues.
Excellent communication and personnel management skills, confident, pleasant, and firm, able to collaborate with various levels including management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Successful Candidate:
Experience in building a high-performance culture that balances results orientation with caring for the individual.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ERP software experience.
Demonstrate understanding of the financials and metrics of the business.
Think strategically and challenges processes for continuous improvement.
