Responsibilities:

• Optimize the supplier portfolio to ensure delivery reliability and cost efficiency
• Handle supplier setup, update master data, and manage ongoing supplier issues
• Request, review, and compare supplier offers; prepare sourcing tables and coordinate with departments to finalize awards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure up-to-date status reporting.
• Secure supply chain resilience and traceability.
• Prepare, support, and execute price and contract negotiations.
• Update framework contracts and supplier info records, ensuring accurate pricing and purchase orders.
• Create and maintain project-related price overviews for budget planning.
• Refine procurement data and create detailed reports.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed technical or commercial education with a strong affinity for technology
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing within an international company, ideally in the field of composite materials and automotive
• Excellent MS Office skills, SAP R/3 knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in English, and preferably German written and spoken
• Strong negotiation skills, communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and conceptual thinking with a structured and goal-oriented working style
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and commitment to high performance.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 20%).
