Your Tasks and Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience maintaining enterprise Windows Server hybrid environments (eg. image management, server deployment, configuration management, patching, and software deployment)
• Proven experience in the design/implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) server environments using declarative approaches to the definition of servers and server configuration (eg. YAML)
• Adopting DevOps techniques for code management/review/approval/deployment
• Extensive experience of scripting in PowerShell (VMWare PowerCLI and/or AWS Tools for PowerShell)
• Good understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipeline, ARM, Terraform or other deployment tools.
• Experience with cloud build pipelines – preferably AWS
• Experience in documenting Windows Server environments
• Good knowledge of Windows Server network configuration, virtual networking principals, network transport protocols (https, tcp/ip, udp, ..), DHCP, and DNS
• Experience working with Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and/or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
• Working knowledge of Active Directory
• Desirable: previous experience with Terraform platform and Windows OS Deployment automation across hybrid environments
• Desirable: coding/development experience, for example: working with REST APIs, JSON, YAML, Javascript (node.js/react)
• Desirable: experience working with automation/orchestration/configuration management platforms
• Desirable: experience working in a heavily audited industry eg. pharma or banking
