In this position you will carry out structural simulations for development of automotive lighting systems. In addition, you support internal research projects and actively work on improvement of our products.

Tasks:

• Feasibility check of structural concepts for lamps

• Defeaturing and meshing

• Model setup and structural simulation

• Optimization of single parts and assemblies

• Evaluation, interpretation and summary of simulation results

• Derivation of proposals improve structural design

• Participation in development of new products and processes

• Collaboration in global development teams

Qualifications:

• University degree in mechanical engineering or comparable fields

• Professional experience is beneficial

• Technical understanding

• Knowledge in usage of FEM-Software (Altair) and fatigue solver desired

• Teamplayer

• Good English skills

• German skills are beneficial

• Cost awareness and ability to work independently
