Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) is a non-profit non-governmental organization with field activities implemented worldwide (Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa) and an extensive social & health services programme in the Czech Republic. Caritas CR is going to strengthen its Humanitarian Aid and Development Cooperation Department (HDD) team and is looking for good candidates for the position of Country Program Administrator (CPA). It serves as an entry point into our team, offering a chance to significantly contribute to impactful projects and initiatives. Main responsibilities
- Provide CCR Headquarters and expatriate staff and experts with necessary administrative and organizational support
- Cooperation with Country Programmes Coordinators (CPCs) and Regional Managers (RMs) on supervision and monitoring of projects implementation in line with CCR Monitoring and Evaluation Manual and donors´ rules
- Share on coordination of project activities in the Czech Republic and abroad
- Share on completion and finalization of reports for donors
- Support of Country Directors in communication with international donors, partners and experts
- Monitor developments in the respective country/region with respect to ongoing conflicts, policy changes, socio-economic aspects, weather, and other relevant issues that can have an impact on the current activities and future programmatic direction
Requirements
- Valid EU residence permit
- University degree (preferably development and humanitarian studies, human rights, social sciences, business management and similar)
- Excellent knowledge of English and Czech (oral and written)
- Experience from NGO sector is advantage
- Good communication skills
- Good team player
- Previous consistent work experience is a plus
