Job description
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibility for B2C Europe Product Assortment
Lead of strategic and commercial product management for your product category
Representation of your product category (B2C Europe) in the global GROHE context
Establish profound product & market knowledge and translate into portfolio improvement initiatives
Product Portfolio & Performance Management:
Data driven understanding of success drivers and opportunities in the 3C model
Consequent portfolio analysis to improve portfolio productivity (sales & margin)
Maintain & manage short-/ long-term product development roadmap
Review market-specific product requirements, market dynamics & competitive landscape to identify white spots and business opportunities
Develop priorities for customers and markets
New Product Development:
Initiation of new product development projects according to business opportunities
Define launch strategy & GTM concept
Accompany and support the product development process (commercial responsibility) in collaboration with the global product team and European markets
Collect & validate bottom-up market forecast from markets
Product Launch:
Create a rough definition of product-related marketing package requirements (Marketing assets, product content, activation & consumer touchpoint communication)
Initiate Kick-Off Meeting with Centers of Excellence
Communicate launch timeline to markets & maintain international exchange
Follow up launch performance, review market forecasts and order intake and initiate adjustments or additional activation if needed
Qualifications:
University degree in business studies or related fields
Professional experience in Product Management
Interest and high affinity for highly technical products. Technical product expertise would be preferred.
Experience in dealing with international markets and customers
Knowledge of project, product management and marketing
Very good spoken and written English language skills, German would be a big plus
Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
