Job description  

About the Role:

The objective of this role is to lead, influence and execute integrated marketing initiatives across all the channels in our marketplace- B2B, B2C, D2C, traditional or online, targeting our customers in the wholesale and projects channels, as well as the key influencers (A&Ds, installers/plumbers) for the IMEA region that ensure profitable business and brand growth.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Leader, Marketing IMEA to translate business and marketing objectives and into channel plans that help to deliver aligned key results areas for the region. 

  • Channel is broadly defined as retail and projects direct to consumers and also Lixil owned Experience Centres/showrooms. 

  • Collaborate and align plans and A&P spend and ROIs with market leaders to ensure a good balance of immediate-term deliverables as well as longer term strategic brand and business foundations are laid.

  • Review and support business case preparation and approval process for markets.

  • Align new product launch plans with the Product Management team, and then formulate channel launch plans and execution in the markets.

  • Partner with sales management colleagues to strengthen customer experience and distribution in existing and new sales channels.

  • Work with sales teams to design and deliver efficient marketing programs, with special attention on trade marketing, web marketing and new product launch processes and activities

  • Study, assess and evaluate consumer and customer behaviour; conduct market research and identify key insights

  • Analyse market intelligence to monitor competitor and market trends

  • Expand and build the brand relationship with consumers, influencers and within our distribution partners

  • Implement HQ Marketing Communications plans in a way that reflects the brand positioning and target audiences, and ensure execution across all sales channels via the sales and marketing teams

  • Provide high quality information and analysis on campaign results and return on investment; conduct business and competitive analysis to inform field operating decisions and to evaluate product and service mix

  • Work with PR advisors to create feature opportunities and maximize coverage within budget aligned with strategy and brand identity

  • Lead and inspire a team of diversified talents who are based in the markets to ensure all plans are executed seamlessly, end-to-end.

  • Collaborate and work with regional subject matter experts in PR and Some, Brand and Experiential, digital marketing, and influencers program lead to ensure all channel plans are co-created and executed accordingly.

  • Discuss CAPEX planning with market leader and formalize execution plan with team members to deliver set ROI

  • Monthly A&P spend update for the region and reconciliation with finance to ensure accuracy

  • Track MAT/SAT in Salesforce.

Qualifications and Education:

  • B.Sc. or equivalent degree in marketing, business administration or economics.

  • Professional Marketing qualification, MBA or comparable with focus on finance is a plus.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in marketing roles with at least 3 years of experience in senior management positions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Extensive experience in managing diverse teams and stakeholders across different geographies.

  • Fluent English, written and spoken, is essential, working knowledge of French is considered a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Marketing, preferably from the sanitary ware, consumer electronics or B2B industry.

  • Experience in managing most or all elements of the marketing mix

  • Demonstrate success at working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, highly competitive, and deadline-oriented environment whilst maintaining Lixil’s quality and reputation for excellence.

  • Service oriented approach with solid experience in commercial business partnering.
