For the position of a senior IT inhouse consultant, we are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in supporting SAP MM-PUR modules, preferably in an automotive company. Your job will be to translate business requirements into state-of-the art IT solutions in daily operations as well as in international projects. You feel at home in material flow from a business as well as IT perspective.
As member of a team of specialists located in Ostrava and Bamberg you will be the contact for 1st level teams and key users around the globe.
Tasks
- Advice to the purchasing department and the quality department in the areas of information flow, digitalisation and automation.
- Development of concepts for innovative processes in our IT systems.
- Integration of new solutions and technologies (e.g. SAP BTP) into existing architectures
- Preparation and conversion of Brose procurement to the SAP S/4 HANA platform
- Implementation and continuous optimization of standardized solutions through customizing including specification, testing and release of in-house developments
- Management of agile, international projects with worldwide on-site assignments
- Execution of 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support and key user training
- Administration and worldwide operation of productive IT applications and processes
Profile
- Completed studies preferably in the field of business informatics, industrial engineering or comparable training with corresponding professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in the SAP environment, ideally in the automotive sector
- In-depth knowledge of SAP module MM-PUR including customizing, ABAP knowledge is desirable (Debugging)
- Process knowledge in the areas of procurement, purchasing, supplier quality is a prerequisite
- Practical experience in international project work
- Fluent English language proficiency
- Willingness to travel international
- Ability to work in a team as well as flexibility and independence
