As a Supply Chain Management Coordinator CE Czech & Slovak (domestic appliances, TV, audio) you will be in charge of product supply from Samsung factories into the Czech and Slovak markets. You will work with demand forecasting, purchasing and coordination of various issues and information between the local area, Korean headquarters, and factories to give the best support to local sales team with maximized operational efficiency. You will be working at our Prague office and you will enjoy the opportunity of Home Office working in compliance with Samsung internal guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- As an SCM Coordinator you will be in close cooperation with the local sales team:
- Input and update sales forecasts for domestic appliances, TVs, and audio products
- Monitor customer stock situation for optimal sell in/sell out
- Be aware of the new model introduction schedule and customer model selection
- Follow up the product lifecycle process in cooperation with the product manager
- Have responsibility for purchasing from our factories (right quantity, right time, and right price)
- Weekly contact to our Korean Headquarters and monitor production/shipments for optimal supply per customer
- Work with reports to Korean Headquarters (e.g. weekly sales discrepancy, demand updated status, coordination of daily operational issues)
- Analyze forecast accuracy per customer to support optimal product flow
What we need for this role:
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 1-2 years working experience within SCM, logistics, purchase or equivalent
- Educational background in business, logistics, SCM or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of Czech and/or Korean is an advantage. Strong Excel skills are necessary to succeed.
