Power BI Developer – Financial Data Reporting
 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong administrator skills to enhance our financial data reporting environment. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage Power BI dashboards, data models, and visualizations that drive data-driven decision-making across our financial teams. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, create robust business solutions, and provide Power BI dashboard training when needed.

You’ll work in a team of experienced Power BI developers, giving you the opportunity to learn from peers with strong financial and technical expertise. As part of an Agile team, you will actively contribute to product roadmap and sprint planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop financial dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data mining, analysis, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and deliver customized reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize SQL-based ETL processes to prepare data for reporting.
• Work with large, complex datasets, identifying trends, aggregating data, and constructing visually engaging reports.
• Ensure best practices in performance, security, and governance are applied to Power BI visualizations.
• Support training initiatives and help stakeholders make the most out of Power BI tools.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning and collaborate with the team to drive the roadmap.

Your Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in financial data reporting and business analysis.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including report development, administration, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and DAX for custom calculations.
• Familiarity with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Passionate about automation and cloud technologies.
• Power BI certifications (e.g., PL-300) are a plus.
