We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Senior SAP Project Manager to lead the accelerated 12-month implementation of SAP S/4HANA as part of the transformational program. This program goes beyond a typical ERP rollout - it aims to create a modular, modern technology architecture that improves internal processes and connects SAP to contextual solutions (Contract Management, DMS, HR, etc.). You will be responsible for end-to-end project leadership, ensuring business value delivery, tight control over scope, timeline, and quality, and ultimately the success of the entire ERP transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Vision & Strategic Delivery

  • Own and communicate the project vision, aligning stakeholders and team members.

  • Maintain focus on business value, customer-centricity, and long-term transformation goals.

  • Translate program objectives into actionable project phases and clear deliverables.

2. Scope, Planning & Timeline Management

  • Define MVP scope with stakeholders and lead scope management.

  • Break down the project into realistic phases (Design, BBP, Build, Test, Cutover, Hypercare).

  • Ensure strict timeline management and adherence to the 12-month goal.

3. Cross-Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a diverse project team across business, IT, vendor, and partner representatives.

  • Define and manage roles, responsibilities, and handovers (RACI matrix).

  •  Foster ownership, accountability, and high-performance team dynamics.

4. Vendor & Partner Governance

  • Actively manage system integrator (SI) and implementation partners.

  • Ensure deliverables, timelines, and quality from all external contributors.

  • Monitor contractual adherence and escalate deviations when needed.

5. Quality Assurance & Solution Design Oversight

  • Ensure proper review and validation of all outputs (BBP, configurations, test plans, etc.).

  • Govern sign-off checkpoints and enforce quality gates.

  • Work closely with the Design Authority Board to ensure solution alignment.

6. Risk, Issue, and Change Management

  • Identify risks early, assess their impact, and implement mitigation actions.

  • Drive change request governance and assess impact on budget and timelines.

  • Lead escalation and resolution processes for critical issues.

7. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the key spokesperson for the ERP program.

  • Provide clear, regular updates to executive sponsors, users, and delivery teams. 

  • Manage expectations and maintain transparency across all levels.

8. Test, Migration, and Cutover Execution

  • Oversee integrated test planning (SIT, UAT), data migration, and cutover readiness.

  • Ensure robust preparation for Go-Live and post-Go-Live hypercare.

9. Change Adoption & Enablement

  • Collaborate with change managers and functional leads to drive adoption.

  • Support training, onboarding, and communication activities.

  • Ensure that internal customers are equipped and ready for the change.

Requirements:

Education & Certifications:

  • University degree in Project Management, IT, Business or related field.

  • Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience managing complex IT or ERP projects.

  • Proven success in full-cycle SAP implementations, ideally in accelerated timelines.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.

Skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of ERP processes and SAP S/4HANA methodology.

  • Strong planning, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience with project tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Slovak/Czech a plus.
