As an Operations Component Manager, you'll play a vital role in developing and managing a global material properties system that ensures optimal handling, storage, and processing across international operations. What You´ll Be Responsible For:

  • Design and implement a global material property management system
  • Create and maintain a structured database for operations-relevant material data
  • Define processes for collecting, processing, and integrating material attributes
  • Categorize materials and form similarity clusters to optimize data management
  • Evaluate alternatives and ensure smooth integration of materials from acquired companies
  • Collaborate closely with departments like Production, QA, Procurement, and R&D
  • Support system integration (ERP/MES) and enhance “new material release” processes
  • Contribute to cost optimization and solutions for component shortages across sites
  • Implement digital tools and automation for more efficient procurement workflows
  • Advise and support international teams on material-related decisions and challenges


What You Should Bring:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Knowledge of compliance, procurement, and material management systems
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Assertive communication with a professional, intercultural approach
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, PLM software
  • Fluent in English and Czech; German is a plus
  • Confident presentation and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
