Senior Legal Counsel

What are the main tasks of this role?

• Legal Counsel for group-wide legal topics, incl. FL, CH, AT, DE, CZ and SK markets
• Legal and compliance support to various internal stakeholders, advice on aspects of corporate governance
• Regulatory project management (on-site, off-site inspections)
• Negotiation, drafting and review of contracts with suppliers
• Development of internal guidelines and processes, incl. review and revisions to implement new legal requirements
• Legal department development (legal handbook, definition of legal processes, controls, internal reporting)
• Legal monitoring (EU law)
• Support M&A transactions as needed

What should the ideal candidate have?

• At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector (banks, insurance companies, investment companies, etc.) is a necessary
• Advanced knowledge of English language
• Knowledge of German language welcomed
