ADI Global Distribution, a division of Resideo Security Group, is seeking a Senior Distribution Leader in Brno to lead the warehouse, driving the delivery of Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets by focusing on continuous improvement and by promoting a team-based culture. Providing best-in-class support to our local (CZ) Sales organization and making sure our customers our served-on time and in full.

JOB DUTIES:
 

• Overall responsibility for warehouse activities and services in the Brno Warehouse (inbound, storage, outbound)
• Support and execute the EMEA and CZ distribution strategy
• Implement ADI's Business Excellence Program (Continuous improvements Lean, 5S, etc.) in the CZ warehouse)
• Become the local Logistics contact (Work with the EMEA Director of Transportation)
• Manage Customer Collections/Pickups (Warehouse acts as a branch)
• Optimise and improve warehouse operations – planning and execution (picking, packing, receipts, dispatches, positions/bins, locations/shelves) – reduce errors.
• Act as a role model for team members.
• Manage the allocation of work on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets.
• Ensure delivery of team targets by the team.
• Manage the team performance through job instruction, regular reviews and team meetings.
• Assess training needs. Create and deliver skills training plans to ensure there is the adequate day-to-day cover on the team and build flexibility for how team members can be utilized.
• Monitor team performance (targets, absence, skills, conduct) implementing appropriate performance management processes to resolve performance issues, including disciplinary activity.
• With HR Advisor/Oracle, create recruitment plans and contribute to recruitment and selection of new staff. Ensure all new staff are inducted and trained to the required standards.
• Manage team budget (where known), to include all aspects of cost, within established guidelines, to result in cost reduction (capex/opex)
• Responsible for HSE for the CZ Warehouse (risk management, fire protection, waste management, and reporting), and manage the outsourced HSE specialist
• Ensure compliance with all local laws and corporate procedures
• Manage mandatory training & maintenance programs e.g., Electrical training, Outsourced working (control),
• Manage the validity of compliance documentation
• Change management (use of third-party suppliers reflecting price/performance and business implications)

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Previous experience in warehouse management
• Team-leading experience
• P&L responsibility in previous jobs
• High school diploma
• Czech and English language on a professional level
