For the position of a senior IT inhouse consultant, we are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in supporting SAP SD, PP, MM or TM modules, preferably in an automotive company. Your job will be to translate business requirements into state-of-the art IT solutions in daily operations as well as in international projects. You feel at home in material flow from a business as well as IT perspective. As member of a team of specialists located in Ostrava and Bamberg you will be the contact for 1st level teams and key users around the globe.
Tasks
- Realization of international projects with worldwide on-site assignments
- Development of concepts for innovative processes in IT systems
- Implementation and continuous optimization of standardized solutions through customizing, including specification, monitoring, and acceptance of in-house developments.
- Preparation and conversion of Brose Logistics to new technologies, such as SAP S/4HANA technology
- Carrying out 2nd and 3rd level support and user/key user training for the complete Brose Group
- Working in a team with experts distributed across different countries
- Taking over responsibility in the areas of SAP logistic modules, especially in one of the areas Sales and Distribution, Material- and Production Planning or SAP Transportation Management
Profile
- Completed degree, preferably in the field of computer science or business informatics or comparable training with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in the one of the SAP modules: SD, PP, MM or TM - ideally in the automotive sector
- Basic knowledge of the SAP development environment (ABAP)
- Project-related willingness to travel
- Fluent in English
