We are seeking a GL Accountant for maternity cover to join our client’s finance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the accounting function, in coordinating tax matters and actively contribute to financial reporting and audit processes.

Key activities:

• Perform accounting activities in delegated area according to Corporate (IFRS) and Finnish
  accounting standards
• Group intercompany reconciliations preparation, including communication with counter party
  and solving possible differences
• Reconcile the assigned accounts after accounting period is being closed
• Cooperation and provision of information to stakeholders (client, Auditors, authorities, HQ) as
  required
• Daily routine related to GL activities
• Various ad hoc questions, tasks and projects within functional responsibility of the company

Qualifications required:

• Min. 2 years of professional work experiences in accounting
• High school diploma of accounting/finance
• Computer skills – MS Office (Excel), SAP
• English language min. B2 level (written and verbal), Finnish is plus
• IFRS knowledge is highly desirable, knowledge of Finnish GAAP is appreciated
• Reliability, problem solving, good communication skills
• Team player with ability to work under the pressure
