SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Your Future Role:

You will be responsible for complex financial accounting of the Company, including Accounts Payable (“AP”), General Ledger (“GL”) and Bank accounts. Correct, complete and timely processing of accounting activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• General accounting of the Company in accordance with local law (CZ GAAP) and group policies, GL accounts reconciliations
• Processing AP documents, responsible for correct workflow based on Company´s policy, responsible for timely payments
• Posting bank statements, processing payments
• Continual cash flow management, administration and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Reconciliation of Petty Cash
• Travel expenses reimbursements, reconciliation of credit cards and cash advances provided
• VAT and CIT returns, co-operation with tax advisors and communication with tax authorities
• Month-end and year-end close (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, etc.)
• Cooperation with auditors and participation on statutory and internal audits
• Participation on projects related to development of accounting system and other tools

What Do We Require?

• Economic studies and/or relevant experience in Finance (at least 2 years)
• Basic use of MS Office tools (i.e. Excel, Word)
• Experience in MS Dynamics accounting system is an advantage (not requested)
• Fluent in Czech at a native level
• Good command of English language – B2 level or higher
• Strong attention to detail
• Very good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable and pro-active approach
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player is necessary
• Target orientation
