IT Business Analyst – IT & Finance

LINET Group, the leading supplier of medical devices and nursing care products.

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with Project Management skills to serve as a crucial link between Finance and IT teams. This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, managing IT projects, and ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial processes, IT systems, and project management methodologies.

What would be your main tasks?

  • Act as a bridge between Finance and IT departments to align technology solutions with business needs
  • Analyze, document, and optimize financial workflows and business processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for automation
  • Develop business requirement documents, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams
  • Lead and manage IT projects related to finance, ensuring timely delivery and meeting the budget and scope
  • Define project goals, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Coordinate with IT teams, finance stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and IT security policies
  • Support selection, implementation, and enhancement of financial systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software, budgeting and reporting tools)
  • Conduct user training, create documentation, and ensure smooth adoption of IT solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, be a liaison between IT and finance
  • Work closely with finance executives, IT developers, and external consultants
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and system demos to gather feedback

What do we expect?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management, preferably within finance/IT domains
  • Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience using project management tools such as MS DevOps, Jira, Trello
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and finance software
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, system integrations, MS Power Platform and AI
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Czech and English - both very good level
  • You will ideally have certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM)
  • You will ideally have experience in FinTech or banking sector
  • You will ideally have knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, IFRS, GDPR, etc.)
