Land Acquisition Manager (m/w/d), Segrate (Milan), Italy

The candidate should have several years of experience in land acquisition for logistic and industrial development Projects. This role involves developing and managing a cross-functional team with a variety of skills and experience, as well as collaborating with other departments. The successful applicant will have great communication, teamwork, leadership and analytical skills.
Responsibilities and duties:
Research of new plots in accordance with VGP criteria;
Reading and understanding of Urban Planning Act and urban planning development process;
Preparation of documentation for technical feasibility and budgets for economic feasibility of the investment;
Reporting activities;
Negotiations with the Seller;
Management of proposals and contracts reading;
Contact with Municipalities and Authorities regarding potential locations, technical feasibility, urbanistic status;
Manage Technical and Legal Due Diligence during the acquisition phase;
Manage the urbanistic process discussing with authorities and managing VGP external consultants;
Assess risks involved with new opportunities, ensure the respect of deadlines and be ready to handle unexpected situations.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in Land Acquisition for logistic and production development projects.
Architect or Technical Engineer background (preferential).
Ability to read, understand technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to plan and develop and monitor land acquisition schedules.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills.
Ability to find and follow through on opportunities to maximize project profits.
Ability to working an international environment.
Ability to work independently and drive projects autonomously.
Good written and spoken knowledge English.
Willingness to travel within Italy.
