We are looking for a Country (Field) Marketing Manager who will drive localized marketing and sales efforts and connect with key stakeholders within the local transportation community to increase our commercial performance.
You will work closely with both the central marketing team and local country management to ensure alignment with global strategies while tailoring local Revenue and Acquisition focused initiatives to the specific needs of the market.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in field or country marketing, preferably in the B2B tech and/or transportation sector
- Understanding of the local market, including industry trends, media landscape, and regulatory environment Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in Business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders
- Ability to produce value-adding campaigns and “commercial ideas”, and independently create, develop and execute marketing initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and execute marketing plans independently
- Experience working in a matrix organization, collaborating with both central teams and local management
- Ability to localize content and marketing strategies to meet specific regional needs
- Strong project management skills, with a hands-on approach to execution
- Fluent English
Bonus knowledge:
- Experience in the transport or logistics sector
- Familiarity with local legal and regulatory frameworks impacting the industry
What You'll Do:
Market Monitoring and Competitor Analysis:
- Keep a close watch on local market and industry news to stay ahead of trends, competitor activities, competing product offerings, new products releases, and emerging opportunities.
- Regularly track and analyze competitor marketing activities, reporting insights to the central team and identifying opportunities to differentiate the brand in the local market.
On-the-Ground Presence:
- Be regularly present in local truck parks / acceptance partners, ensuring POS marketing materials and campaigns are up-to-date, meeting and interviewing with drivers and driver-owners to establish relationships and receive feedback.
Customer Insights and Partner Engagement:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, partners, and influencers within the local transport sector to gather insights and amplify marketing efforts.
- Legal & Regulatory Insights:
- Follow and proactively communicate potential local legal changes or emerging opportunities to the central team and country manager.
Community Engagement and Digital and Social Media Engagement:
- Actively participate in local transport communities, following social media groups and associations, linking with local customers, and staying well-connected with key industry players, events, and organizations.
- Oversee and contribute to the company’s local presence on digital and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with global strategies while addressing local interests and trends.
Local Marketing Initiatives:
- Initiate and drive localized marketing activities tailored to the specific needs and culture of the region, while ensuring alignment with global strategy.
- Act as the single point-of-contact to manage translations and market adaptations.
Budget Management and Campaign Performance Tracking:
- Discuss, manage, optimize and report local marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution of campaigns and activities. Monitor and evaluate the performance of local marketing campaigns, providing regular reports on KPIs and feedback to central and local teams for continuous improvement.
Execution & implementation:
- Execute approved marketing plans using the company’s platforms and tools, ensuring seamless alignment with central marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
Data & Market Research Contribution:
- Act as a local source of input for gathering group data and conducting market research to improve marketing strategies and business insights.
Collaboration with Country Manager:
- Work closely with the local country manager to support and align marketing initiatives with business goals and market requirements.
Content Localization:
- Localize global content (public web, applications, group sales materials) and advertising to ensure relevance and impact in the local market.
Event Coordination and Participation:
- Organize or participate in local industry events, trade shows, and community meet-ups to promote the company’s brand, build relationships, and gather market intelligence.

Crisis Communication Support:
- Together with the Country Manager Serve as a local point of contact for managing and communicating during crises or sensitive situations that impact the brand or local operations.
Brand Ambassador:
- Act as the face of the brand within the local market, ensuring that the company’s values and vision are represented consistently in all communications and activities.
