Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee our finance operations in a dynamic ticketing company. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of statutory financial statements, ensure full compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, manage and optimize accounting processes, and implement internal controls to maintain financial integrity. You will also play a key role in supporting financial audits and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management.

Thanks to this partnership, we offer professional ticketing services across 7 countries and process over 15 million tickets annually for a wide range of events.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and booking of Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
  • Recording various General Ledger (GL) transactions, including accruals, foreign exchange differences, payroll, and loans
  • Reconciling bank statements and matching transactions to payments
  • Preparing and issuing payment orders via bank systems
  • Performing accounts reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with local regulations
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Supporting audit processes and providing necessary documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies


We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Czech GAAP and VAT regulations
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards
  • Experience with Abra or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Professional accounting certification is advantageous
