You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. Apply software engineering knowledge, tools, and principals to develop improved systems.  Essential Responsibilities:

As a Mobile Software Engineer this is your opportunity to:

• Use your knowledge and experience with native and cross-platform mobile development to design and develop mobile applications for Resideo that enable our products and services.
• Enhance and add new features to our connected devices IoT consumer applications
• Ability to take ownership and provide leadership for parts of a project
• Work within a full stack team to deliver high quality mobile experiences to our customers
• Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principles
• Establish and extend automated software delivery pipelines for mobile applications
• Accelerate innovation and growth, teaming with the world’s most talented engineers

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Minimum 5 years of software development work experience
• Experience developing complex mobile applications for iOS or Android
• Experience developing iOS and Android apps in Swift and native Java/Kotlin or Dart/Flutter cross platform network
• Knowledge of and experience with REST APIs
• Experience with automated testing of mobile applications
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong debugging skills
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Workflows
• Experience with software source control using GIT
