At Connect Group, we are looking for a driven Business Development Manager who will play a key role in expanding our business and customer relationships across six strategic markets:

  • Industry

You’ll join a dynamic, fast-growing international company active in two core activities: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Cable & Wiring Services (CWS). Your Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify, pursue, and acquire new customers and business opportunities through acquisition, networking, trade fairs, and lead generation.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Develop and implement strategic acquisition plans, commercial agendas, and budgets.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to generate qualified leads and anticipate market trends.

  • Promote our services by translating customer needs into tailored proposals aligned with Connect Group’s core competencies.

  • Independently negotiate and close commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines.

  • Coordinate project handover and implementation via the Customer Relations Manager (CRM).

  • Maintain accurate customer data and reporting in our CRM system.

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Unit Manager and internal teams on commercial priorities.

  • Travel for client visits and international trade shows (approx. 20% of your time). 

Your Profile

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, preferably within the EMS and/or CWS sector, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong B2B commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with analytical insight and a performance-driven mindset.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).

  • Strong sense of ownership and customer focus.

  • Willing to travel up to 20% for customer meetings and fairs.

  • Valid Category B driver’s license.

  • Experience with subcontracting is considered a strong asset.
