In this role, you will manage procurement activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from presales to commissioning. Your job is to make sure every project-related purchase meets our technical needs, stays within budget, and contributes to the project’s gross margin. You’ll report to the Project Team Manager.
ABOUT THE JOB
As our Project Buyer, you will:
- Gather input from various stakeholders to select the most suitable products and suppliers, based on project requirements and customer expectations.
- Build and maintain a strong network of suppliers within your assigned region.
- Set purchasing priorities for each project and ensure timely execution.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Support presales by providing up-to-date pricing and supplier insights.
- Maintain accurate supplier data and purchasing conditions in our ERP system (IFS).
ABOUT YOU
We imagine our ideal candidate would:
- Hold a master’s degree in a technical or economics-related field.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in purchasing technical goods, components, or services in an international environment.
- Have excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on precision and detail.
- Be fluent in Czech and English.
