Job overview:
As the Talent Business Partner for European Region, you will deliver comprehensive HR support, with a primary focus on Czech and UK-based personnel. This role combines hands-on operational HR responsibilities with coordination of people processes and strategic collaboration across European offices. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring HR practices are aligned with organizational goals and local compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle for UK-based employees, including onboarding, contract preparation, contractual amendments, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal policies.
- Support payroll processes for Czech and UK employees and manage benefits administration.
- Collaborate with the external payroll team to ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data in relevant systems for Czech and UK personnel.
- Create, update, and communicate HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee recruitment processes, including pre-selection, screening, interviewing, and supporting hiring managers to ensure seamless candidate experience.
- Support the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and professional growth.
- Assist in annual performance evaluations, salary reviews, and related administrative processes.
- Work closely with HR representatives across European offices to ensure consistency and best-practice sharing.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand talent needs and provide strategic HR guidance.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, ensuring fair, transparent, and compliant resolution in line with company policies and local legislation.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, role realignments, and cultural transformation programs.
- Contribute to special HR projects and provide additional support as business needs evolve.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years' experience in a broad HR role (e.g., HR Generalist, HR Business Partner), ideally gained in the international environment
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and general labour law principles
- Familiarity with Czech labour law; UK labour law knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent professional Czech and English (written and spoken)
- Learning agility with the ability to research and apply new knowledge effectively
- Positive, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership
- Client-oriented mindset with a focus on providing effective support
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Experience in a matrix or international organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and Excel
