Overview
IDC is seeking a dependable and versatile Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Python to join one of our AI teams which focuses on delivering production-grade Python applications deployed in Kubernetes and AWS Lambda. Our work involves designing scalable, high-performance AI systems, combining generative AI with established machine learning techniques like classifiers and predictive models.
We collaborate with other teams to integrate AI and ML solutions effectively, ensuring practical impact and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy and maintain Python applications deployed in Kubernetes and AWS Lambda.
- Design APIs and monitor health of our applications.
- Setup AWS tools and services and write Python connectors to them.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and data scientists, providing technical support, performing code reviews
- Learn new AI technologies on the run.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience, proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Docker.
- Experience with cloud platforms (setup, deployment, and monitoring), preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with application and deployment security best practices.
- Strong debugging skills for data issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana or similar.
