The International School of Prague (ISP) is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and relationship-driven Events and Marketing Manager to lead and support a wide range of community-centered events, marketing initiatives, and advancement projects. This multifaceted role plays a vital part in delivering meaningful experiences that foster school spirit, elevate ISP’s visibility, and strengthen engagement with families, donors, and the broader community.

Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the successful candidate will be a proactive and creative professional with exceptional interpersonal and project management skills, a proven track record in event and campaign coordination, and a genuine enthusiasm for working in a diverse, international school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination and Management

  • Plan, organize, and manage a wide range of school events, including galas, donor appreciation events, and community celebrations.
  • Work closely with internal departments, and parent volunteers to ensure events are collaborative, well-coordinated, and mission-aligned.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, coordinate logistics, and oversee production timelines.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes, gather stakeholder feedback, and inform improvements.
  • Ensure all events reflect ISP’s values of inclusion, excellence, and community engagement.


Marketing and Donor Engagement

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, campaigns, and school initiatives across digital and traditional channels.
  • Support the Advancement Director to plan, promote, and implement fundraising campaigns.
  • Secure sponsorships and in-kind donations from local businesses and community partners to support events and fundraising goals.
  • Support the development, production, and distribution of advancement-related materials, including the Annual Report, campaign brochures, gala programs, and digital communications.
  • Maintain accurate donor and sponsor records in the school’s CRM system and ensure timely recognition and stewardship.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and engagement metrics using analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and attention to detail, combined with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset. They will be an enthusiastic communicator and a composed, solution-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or advancement.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with varying timelines and levels of complexity, while maintaining high standards of quality, organization, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated experience in balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution, staying calm under pressure, and adapting to last-minute changes with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and other digital tools supporting marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for school events.
