Job description
Based at Ricardo Prague’s Technical Centre, you will be responsible for accuracy and integrity of the financial ledgers, preparing and analyzing financial reports.
- Maintain the integrity of the financial ledgers and understand fully all accounts and inputs
- Managing intercompany transactions, reconciliations across entities, using Tagetik
- Managing GL for small division in Germany
- Maintain accruals and prepayments
- Prepare VAT report
- Posting salaries calculated by external company
- Prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliation and other analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial closing each month
- Prepare and report accurate half year and full year statutory account packs and analysis on a timely basis
- Work with cost centre managers and assist them with cost management, providing analysis and explanations of budget
- Support all internal and external audit
- Provide holiday cover for other members of the Reporting and GL Accountant team
YOUR SKILLS WILL INCLUDE
- At least 3 years GL accounting experience, experience with transactional positions (AP, AR, Cash & Banking) is welcomed
- Sound knowledge of financial ERP system (SAP preferably)
- Knowledge of technical accounting functions and experience with financial record keeping and bookkeeping
- Highly numerate with attention to detail
- Methodical and accurate approach to work, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Highly organized and manage multiple priorities and assignments at the same time. Working with financial documents, they display a high degree of integrity and professionalism
- Great verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues of all levels throughout the company
- Fluent in English, both oral and written, German is not needed
