Your future role

As an IT Specialist – Procurement, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services within the Euro-Center group. Your goal will be to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, optimize procurement processes, and negotiate with suppliers with a focus on efficiency, quality, and security.

Main responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute procurement activities for IT (HW, SW, services)
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle – from requirements gathering to supplier evaluation and contract management
  • Regularly update procurement records and reporting tools
  • Conduct risk assessments of IT suppliers, systems, and products
  • Implement and document internal controls, procedures, and compliance rules in IT procurement
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of IT security policies
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and technical departments on cross-functional projects
  • Participate in internal and external cybersecurity audits
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies across the group

The ideal candidate should have

  • University degree in IT, economics, supply chain management, or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of procurement experience, ideally in the IT sector
  • Knowledge of supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement best practices
  • Very good command of English (working language)
  • Czech at a communicative level (not required but preferred for dealing with local suppliers)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
