Role overview
The Business & Ventures Development Associate supports Inowatti’s Business & Ventures team in developing new opportunities for flare gas monetization and high-density computing projects.
This entry-level role blends classic business development with venture-oriented exploration and provides exposure to project management and early execution. The position is designed to build strong commercial and operational foundations for future leadership growth.
Key responsibilities
Lead generation & research
• Identify and qualify flare gas monetization opportunities in target regions (MENA, Asia, Africa).
• Research potential partners, clients, and industry developments.
Outreach & client engagement
• Support outreach campaigns (emails, calls, LinkedIn).
• Assist in scheduling and preparing for client and supplier meetings.
Proposals & presentations
• Contribute to pitch decks, proposals (GPAs, PPAs), and client presentations.
• Maintain a reusable library of BD materials.
Pipeline & reporting
• Update the BD pipeline tracker with accurate opportunity status.
• Provide monthly reports and insights for management reviews.
Cross-Functional support
• Coordinate with technical, legal, and finance teams during project scoping.
• Support senior colleagues during negotiations and due diligence.
Project management & execution support
• Help track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Assist with coordination between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams during early execution phases.
• Contribute to project documentation, reporting, and follow-ups on action items.
External representation (as needed)
• Support Inowatti’s presence at industry conferences and professional events globally.

Qualifications
• At least *1 year of experience* in business development, ventures, energy, or a related commercial role (oil & gas/energy exposure a plus).
• Proven ability to structure outreach, manage a pipeline, and contribute to proposals.
• Strong understanding or demonstrable curiosity about the energy market and related regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication, research, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working both autonomously and in cross-functional teams.
• *Bachelor’s degree* in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel to MENA, Africa, and Asia as projects require.
• *English required* (additional languages such as Arabic/French are a plus).
