About the job:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior BI Consultant with in-depth expertise in Power BI. You will become our go-to internal expert on this platform, helping clients design, build, and evolve cutting-edge Power BI solutions.

In this role, you will work on diverse data and analytics projects, enabling clients to leverage their data for smarter, more efficient decision-making fully. This position offers opportunities to grow in business-focused areas (data strategy, governance, monetization, AI) as well as technical domains (reporting, data architecture, data management).

You will also have the chance to develop subject-matter expertise, deliver training, and provide mentoring to colleagues or client teams. We are seeking someone with strong technical and communication skills, deep Power BI knowledge, and the ability to solve complex challenges in business intelligence and data analytics.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development in a commercial environment.
• University degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and Power Query (M).
• Proven experience with Power BI governance, semantic models, data flows, deployment pipelines, and MS Fabric components.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Solid sense of design and experience in UI/UX for data visualization.
• Strong interest in BI trends and Microsoft ecosystem updates.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English; German is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Keboola, etc.).
• Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik).
• Knowledge of Vega/Vega-Lite (for use with Deneb visual).
• Previous consulting experience.
