Your Responsibilities
- Check statements of accounts received from cedents and brokers against contract data in the operating system.
- Book statements of accounts in a timely and accurate manner in the operating system.
- Follow up with clients and brokers on overdue statements and settlements of accounts.
- Submit requests for outgoing payments.
- Clear both incoming and outgoing payments in a defined timely manner.
- Perform assigned tasks during quarterly and yearly closings.
- Perform checks and controls within a defined portfolio.
- Assist with data clean-up activities to prepare for automation.
What We Expect
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (A&R, controlling, solid accounting knowledge.
- Understanding of reinsurance (or willingness to learn).
- Experience with systems like Excel is a must and with SAP is a plus.
- Solid accounting knowledge.
- Understanding of reinsurance (or willingness to learn).
- High level of diligence.
- Analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks and clean-up activities.
