Job Description :

Commodity Management

• Lead sourcing and procurement of mechanical components, machined parts, and industrial equipment for high-volume manufacturing
• Collaborate with engineering and D&D teams to align sourcing strategies with product development and design requirements
• Environment Scanning, sharing relevant and valuable market info with the EU IBU’s as well as wider scale Corp Proc team
• The Corporate Procurement Manager supports developing and maintaining Global and Europe-specific local strategic suppliers for Global and specific European regions and used commodities.

Supply Management

• Manage supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring, focusing on cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain and assist team member on a balance supply base, taking into account total cost, availability and risk
• Drive and assist team members on localization and value engineering program
• Assist SCO/SCC to locate or expedite short parts for selected critical incidence

Supplier Management

• Assist the qualification of new supplier process
• Set up the new supplier, including review and negotiation of terms including but not limited to, Payment, delivery, rebates schemes & Quality Assurance
• Maintain an optimal portfolio of suppliers that offer regional / global growth opportunities
• Monitor supplier performance and risk to regional supply chain implementing performance improvement plans where required.

Cost Management

• Continually look for, formulate and execute tactical activities for commodity cost reduction
• Coordinate customer / KAM originated / project-based cost reduction program
• Monitor regional PPV and determine corresponding action if needed
• Assist in Value Engineering program to drive cost down

RFQ /NPI Management

• Review, co-ordinate and submit the key project CBOM for EU and Asia
• Define Strategic supply chains required for individual existing and new customer opportunities driving through to IBU teams on production volumes.
• Support strategic sourcing of raw materials, machined parts, and tooling for NPI and mass production of new business opportunities

General Management

• Work with Sr. CPM and CPO to establish and execute policies and strategies of Corporate Procurement
• Work with KAM on customer feedback regarding open opportunities
• Continuous monitoring of commodity / market conditions guiding Procurement teams & customers where necessary to mitigate constraints
• Represent department as speaker to other departments and coordinator on company programs
• Assist in definition of KPI’s for EU Strategic supply sources
