We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Quality Analyst to join our Business Data team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and reliability of data across the organization. You will contribute to the design and implementation of data quality processes, perform data validation and analysis, and work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to support data governance initiatives.
A key responsibility of this position is the operational deployment of data governance frameworks and data quality rules within the company’s data flows. You will also manage and maintain the metadata catalogue to ensure consistent and accurate data documentation. Responsibilities & Scope
- Perform data quality assessments including reconciliation, controls, validation, and trend monitoring
- Define and implement data quality rules in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
- Document data quality processes and governance procedures
- Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of data quality rules
- Monitor and report on data quality KPIs and scorecards
- Promote data quality awareness across the organization
- Identify and propose solutions for data quality improvements
- Maintain and update the metadata catalogue
Knowledges & Skills
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Python
- Familiarity with data management processes and principles
- Strong interest and foundational knowledge in Data Governance, Data Quality, and metadata management
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- High attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving
- Understanding of data warehouse platforms (e.g., Databricks, MS SQL)
- Awareness of data architecture principles
- Experience with data governance/catalog tools (e.g., Dawiso, Collibra)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science)
- Experience in data analysis and data management roles
- Exposure to regulated industries such as (re)insurance or finance
