Job Description:

The M&A Associate focuses on supporting the management of selected M&A transactions across the CEE region from initiation through completion. Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting deal summaries and updates to management, reviewing new opportunities with feasibility and financial analyses, and preparing marketing materials and business plans for sell-side projects. The position requires close cooperation with internal teams (legal, financial, technical) as well as external advisors, banks, and other counterparties. Additionally, the role involves coordinating data rooms, vendor due diligence, transaction documentation, and supporting financing activities in collaboration with the bank financing team..

  • Developing and evaluating financial models, updating CF projections.
  • Analyzing acquisition targets and opportunities.
  • Preparation of feasibility studies.
  • Coordinating, monitoring and administrating project progress and timeline.
  • Cooperating with external technical, legal, tax and other advisors.
  • Preparation of datarooms and market studies.
  • Support to senior colleagues and participation at meetings and negotiations.
  • Participate at other business meetings with valuators, consultants, industry experts and other transaction counterparties.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic history, Master Degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering areas.
  • At least two years in M&A or financial experience from Big 4, real estate company or capital markets.
  • Diligence, flexibility, analytical thinking.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
  • Excellent English and Czech language skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team spirit, collaborative and inclusive way of working.
