TITAN are seeking an ambitious and experienced Commercial Manager to lead our sales and business development strategy across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This role is central to achieving revenue growth, expanding our market share, and ensuring sustainable profitability.
Working closely with the Director of Business Partnerships and senior leadership, the commercial manager will drive commercial strategy, build client relationships, and inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver revenue growth in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
- Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and partnerships within both markets.
- Lead contract negotiations, tenders, and proposals to secure new business.
- Track competitor activity and market dynamics to inform commercial decisions.
Customer and Partner Engagement
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service, to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, laws, and standards governing business operations, employment practices, and product/service offerings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Commercial and Financial Management
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business operations, including financial, legal, and reputational risks.
- Deliver on sales revenue and profitability targets for both countries.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and pricing models to ensure competitiveness, margin protection, profitability and revenue growth.
- Monitor commercial KPIs and report performance to the Director of Business Partnerships.
- Optimise cost-effective approaches to customer acquisition and account management.
- Manage financial budgets, resources, and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness, profitability, and sustainability of operations.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, financial indicators, and market data to track progress towards goals and make data-driven decisions.
Employee Engagement and Development
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Provide opportunities for employee development and career progression.
- Provide training and development to strengthen sales performance.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus across the Czech and Slovak teams while ensuring it aligns with TITANs culture and expectations globally.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations, including labour laws, tax regulations, and industry standards.
- Assess and mitigate commercial risks in contracts, negotiations, and partnerships.
- Safeguard company interests through effective governance and oversight.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and government officials, to support business objectives and foster goodwill.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility, reputation, and brand awareness.
About You
- Fluency in Czech is essential for this role, as it involves extensive engagement with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies across the Czech Republic
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
- Proven experience in senior commercial, business development, or sales leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Central European markets, especially CZ & SK.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with financial acumen and a results-driven approach.
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
