Mission Operation Engineer (Space)

Do you want to participate in the development of satellites or their parts? We have the opportunity for you to become part of our team in the SPACE division. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mission Operations Engineer to join our space team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, monitoring and controlling spacecraft operations, ensuring successful missions from pre-launch through post-mission analysis.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of space mission operation concepts
Cooperation on the development, implementation, integration and testing of a mission operations system
Cooperation with teams focused on research and development in the field of systems engineering, HW and SW
Communication with subcontractors, customers and partners within the framework of the projects being solved
Operate spacecraft systems during mission execution.
Monitor spacecraft telemetry and make real-time decisions to adapt to changing conditions.
Coordinate with system engineers to ensure missions meet operational requirements.
Conduct pre-launch checkouts and simulations.
Analyze data and generate reports for mission performance evaluation.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving anomalies during missions.
Maintain accurate records of spacecraft operations and mission logs.
Coordinate planning of operation maneuvers with mission partners and distribute maneuvers results
Coordinate spacecraft operation and collision avoidance maneuvers with national space traffic entities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, astrophysics, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience in spacecraft operations or a relevant position preferred.
Knowledge of both English (B2) and Czech language (B2)
