What You’ll Be Driving

Lead the design, optimization, and verification of complex optical systems using Zemax OpticStudio, CODE V, and advanced ray-tracing tools
Perform sensitivity and tolerance analyses to ensure manufacturability and performance of optomechanical assemblies
Create precise technical documentation and CAD models (Creo) in close collaboration with in-house manufacturing teams
Engage directly with global customers, delivering technical presentations and leading design discussions
Drive innovation in optical design, continuously improving system performance and integration
Collaborate with experts in mechanical design, metrology, software development, and prototyping


What You Bring

PhD or Master’s in Optics, Physics, or a related technical field
10+ years of experience in optical design for semiconductor applications
Deep expertise in optical aberrations, tolerance analysis, and optomechanical integration
Advanced proficiency in Zemax OpticStudio, CODE V, and CAD tools (e.g. Creo)
Programming skills (e.g. Python) or scripting experience in simulation environments
Fluent English and strong communication skills
Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges
Proven ability to thrive in interdisciplinary teams


Bonus Skills That Set You Apart

Experience with VirtualLab, optiSLang, LightTools, Speos
Knowledge of global optimization algorithms and aspherical lens design
Understanding of polarization, high NA systems, and high-performance optics
Hands-on experience with STOP analysis (Structural Thermal Optical Performance)
Broader engineering knowledge in mechanics, photonics, FEM/structural analysis
