About the role
The Junior Accountant will ensure accurate and timely management of accounts receivable processes, including deposits, collections, invoicing, and credit management. The role also involves supporting accounts payable activities, monitoring bank reconciliations, maintaining financial documentation, and providing administrative assistance to the finance team as needed.
This position is based in Thailand and involves working with local documents and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
What You Will Do
Accurate and timely processing of deposits, collections, issuing invoices, tax invoices, receipt billing processes, and day-to-day accounts receivable operations.
Follow up on overdue invoices and manage collection issues such as delayed or partial payments.
Manage customer credit profiles and ensure that credit limits granted align with company policy.
Support monthly local payments, employee expense claims, and internal bank transfers (with routine data checking).
Support accounts payable recording.
Monitor daily bank reconciliations.
Ensure that all documents are properly maintained and filed.
Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the finance team or perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
1 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), ideally in an MNC
Must be knowledgeable about VAT and Withholding Tax
Proficient in MS Office applications; Excel is a must
Experience with ERP accounting systems is an advantage, especially Oracle NetSuite
Good English communication skills
Mature, able to work well under pressure, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving
Hands-on and able to multitask
