We are seeking an experienced and driven Global Quality Director to lead the worldwide quality strategy and execution for our OEM business. This key leadership position will ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, enhance product and process quality, and drive customer satisfaction globally. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of automotive quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949), expertise in Six Sigma and advanced problem-solving tools, and a proven track record of leading global teams in continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain global Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Manage customer quality relations, including complaints, audits, and corrective actions.
• Oversee APQP processes and ensure successful product launches.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Monitor and report global quality KPIs, including PPM, COPQ, and customer scores.
• Harmonize quality processes across all manufacturing sites.
• Integrate safety and HSE compliance into quality systems (ISO 45001).
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of non-conformities.
• Support engineering and operations in product design and validation.
• Mentor and develop the global quality team.
• Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Plan and justify investments in quality infrastructure and systems.
• Promote a zero-defect mindset and customer-first culture.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing).
• Expert knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D).
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Experience with hydraulics is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficient in ERP and quality management systems (e.g., SAP QM).
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%).
