DevOps Leader/ Sysadmin (35)

Job description:

• lead and coordinate a small DevOps/SRE team responsible for building, operating and improving infrastructure for development, testing, deployment and monitoring of control-system software
• cooperate closely with the Solution Architect to implement the technical roadmap, ensure architectural consistency and drive automation initiatives
• design, maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, GitOps principles) across development and production environments
• manage and modernize infrastructure for containerized workloads
• implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices ensuring consistency, traceability and repeatability
• contribute to observability, reliability and scalability of control-system and IT/OT environments, collaborate with control-system, experimental and IT/OT teams to deliver robust and maintainable systems, including integration with real-time Linux environments
• support daily operations of laboratories and server rooms, plan infrastructure upgrades, and coordinate system improvements

Requirements:

• at least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering roles, ideally with exposure to mixed IT/OT environments
• demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience, with the ability to organize a small team and coordinate cross-functional efforts
• networking background — VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation and service discovery
• solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform) and environment standardization
• understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control and automation tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
